TRUNK

New development should be carried out in trunk, new features or anything that can be classed as volatile should be committed to trunk. Bugsters for Trunk commits should be tagged as for Snapshot10.

If you are fixing a bug then the bug will most likely need to be committed into trunk and into the 9.5 sustaining branch. When you are working in the trunk you should verify if the bug will effect 9.5. If the bug does need to be back-ported then create a sub-task (from the original bug) in Bugster to cover the back-port. You can then work on the new Bugster if you've time or assign it to someone in sustaining.

9.5 Sustaining Branch

If you are fixing a bug from a support case or something else in 9.5.x you must check if the bug is also going to effect the TRUNK. If the bug is still present in TRUNK then please open a sub-task (from the original bug) in Bugster tagged for Snapshot 10. You can then work on the new Bugster if you've time or assign it to someone in sustaining.
